Founding of the World Society of Person-Centered Medicine
Assisi-Italy , October 25, 2025 — On the occasion of the international congress “Person-Centered Health and the Resilient Adolescent,” held in Assisi-S.Maria degli Angeli , the World Society of Person-Centered Medicine was officially founded. This historic initiative brings together leading voices in medicine, education, and global health policy to advance a paradigm rooted in dignity, resilience, and scientific humanism.
The founding members of the Society are: Giuseppe R. Brera, Giuliana Ciarelli, Richard Fiordo,Domenico Francomano, Vito Galante, Paolo Garascia, Roy Kallivayalil, Antonio Licari, Mariangela Porta, Ettore Ruberti,Claudio Violato.
The Society aims to promote the health sytems shift to Person-centered medicine, medical education in Person-centered medicine, research, interdisciplinary collaboration, youth empowerment, and the integration of person-centered principles across clinical, educational, and policy domains worldwide.
